There are two big concert announcements for Philly. Wawa Welcome America is going to be celebrating July 4th virtually with a concert from Jason Derulo and Cynthia Erivo. You’ll be able to watch the show online on July 4th. There will be other virtual events during the week-long celebration. You can find out more here.
The Roots are also making their annual picnic virtual this year with special guest, Former First Lady, Michelle Obama. HER, Roddy Rich and Tom Hanks are all expected to make an appearance. That show will be broadcast Saturday, June 27th at 8p on YouTube. The concert will be in partnership with Mrs. Obama's organization, When We All Vote, a non-profit and nonpartisan organization to help sign up unregistered voters. The goal is to get 500,000 people signed up.
