Remember when people were literally fighting each other over the Popeye's chicken sandwich when it came out? There was a nationwide shortage and it was insane to see long lines of people trying to get their hands on it.
Now, KFC is looking to do the same, releasing a brand new chicken sandwich called...wait for it, the "KFC Chicken Sandwich". Brilliant, right?
At this moment, the sandwich is still in "test mode" in Orlando, Florida locations.
The fast food chain, owned by Yum! Brands, seems to be the last of the fast food places to get their hands into the crispy chicken sandwich game dominated by Popeye's and McDonald's.
KFC describes the sandwich as a crispy chicken fillet inside a buttered brioche bun, topped with pickles and "Colonel's spicy or classic" mayonnaise.
It's touted as a bigger and more flavorful sandwich than the previous one.
Now, it's just a waiting game until all the KFC locations sell it! I want one!
