Just when we thought the Star Wars movies came to an end with The Rise of Skywalker, Disney announced that Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi will be directing the next Star Wars feature film.
According to the press release from Disney, "Academy Award® winner Taika Waititi, who recently won Best Adapted Screenplay for Jojo Rabbit and directed the widely-acclaimed first season finale episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+, will direct and co-write a new Star Wars feature film for theatrical release."
If you saw Jojo Rabbit and love The Mandalorian, then you should be pumped that Taika will be taking the Star Wars saga into a new generation!]\
