6ABC found two Philly best friends for over 17 years, who just found out they're more than just best friends...they're sisters!
Ashley Thomas and Toya Wimberly met at Suzlberger Middle School. People said they looked like sisters and the two said they had a feeling they might actually be related, but it was never more than just a hunch.
To make a long story short, the two finally took a DNA test and it came back that they both have the same dad!
They say the news just deepens the bond between the two.
