Time to say goodbye to another long-running TV series - and one that didn't even get a proper series finale!
Showtime announced this week that Liev Schreiber drama, "Ray Donovan", has been cancelled, and will not be getting a season 8. The season 7 finale which just aired on January 19th, will now serve as the series finale. This is a bit unfortunate for fans, who won't get a "proper" last season or finale.
The network said in a statement: “After seven incredible seasons, Ray Donovan has concluded its run on Showtime. We are proud that the series ended amid such strong viewership and on such a powerful note. Our deepest thanks go to Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, showrunner David Hollander and the entire cast and crew, past and present, for their dedicated work.”
