I'm ready for this. Bring on the Coke Energy.
Coca-Cola is bringing the fight directly to Monster energy and RedBull, introducing their own version of an energy drink, fittingly called Coke Energy.
What's crazy is that Coca-Cola owns a minority stake in Monster, who is second in the energy drink race to the leader, RedBull.
Coke says it wants to increase its presence as a "total beverage" company.
Right now, Coke Energy is only available in Europe and select countries, but that will change next year.
I can't wait to try it and be super caffeinated during my radio shows!
