This is nuts. I'm not sure about who is in the wrong in their relationship, but this isn't how you deal with it on a plane...full of other passengers and kids. It's common sense travel etiquette. We are already in a confined space in the plane, last thing we need is an all out brawl.
I'm sure she had to teach him a lesson, just not the right place.

It just escalates from there. Yeah, I think I would get involved and tell her how inappropriate she is, but also would be one of the people recording it too.
