Gossip Girl is officially getting a reboot! Yep, it's actually happening!
The only unfortunate thing? It's basically a "next generation" reboot - HBO Max announced today that it'll reboot the series, saying, "Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media - and the landscape of New York tiself - has changed in the intervening years."
Could we see a guest appearance maybe? Hopefully! Plus, it's on HBO Max so it'll likely be even more risque than the CW version, which was called "mind-blowingly inappropriate" by the Parents Television Council.
