I am so confused. Empire star Jussie Smollett will NOT face any criminal charges after he allegedly staged a hate crime. Not only that, but the records for the case have been sealed, so it's very unlikely that we'll ever see what the court got to see.
Jussie and his legal team are very happy and one of his lawyers said that "he was victim who was vilified and made to appear as the perpetrator"
It seems like there's a lot more to this story than what we know. Why would all criminal charges be dropped? Was Jussie telling the truth the entire time? I don't have the answers right now, but hopefully we'll get them soon.
