Remember how Kevin Hart was scheduled to host the Oscars but after old homophobic tweets resurfaced he stepped down? He said he didn't want to become a distraction to the show. On Hollywood's biggest night, Kevin was totally out of the spotlight.
So what was he doing? Checking his Instagram Story account @KevinHart4real, it seems like Hart was at home with his wife Eniko Parrish and their one-year-old, Kenzo. It seems like the three were having fun.
Later in the day, Kevin's personal trainer posted a video of him boxing with the caption, "Kev was scheduled to host the#OSCARS tonight but you guys already know what happened. In life, every disappointment is a BLESSING. the show goes on. Keep working CHAMP!!!"
While Kevin was maybe hoping a hostless Oscars would be a dud with people wishing he had hosted the event; most people ended up liking it. I did. It made the show move a lot faster. What did you think?
