Doing it can be a ton of fun, but a lot of us would totally give that up to travel. The travel company, Contiki asked 1,500 Americans aged 18-35 about what they would give up for six months in order to travel the world for free.
57 percent said they would give up sex for six months to travel the world for free.
77 percent said they could live without coffee for six months.
80 percent of us would happily give up Netflix and 73 percent said they could go without alcohol!
These are crazy numbers! A lot of us would do without some of our favorite things just to see the world (for free). It makes sense, you can do all those things when you're back (plus you can get your caffeine through energy drinks if you need it) but having the opportunity to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences by seeing the world doesn't come around too often.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask) no one is actually asking you to give these things up so you can get a free trip around the world. What would you give up for the chance to travel for free?
