When the Culver’s restaurant in Platteville, Wisconsin became victim to a crisis last November, owner Bruce Kroll  took the devastating situation into his own hands- and his decision sent shock waves throughout the country.

After the restaurant suffered from a tragic fire in November, Kroll decided to continue the workers payroll out of pocket. Despite the cash flow halt from insurance just 60 days after the fire, the owner of 19 years has paid $144,000 to his employees in total.

This past June the Culver’s restaurant reopened it’s doors and is said to be doing better than ever. And there you have it- I guess the saying “what goes around comes around” really is true!
