How lucky! Ann Curry is the recipient of an act of kindness after a group of boy scouts found her on a trail seemingly in pain.

The boys were hiking in upstate New York when they found her sitting on the ground with her leg out in front of her. Even though she said she was fine, the boys insisted on helping her.

They made a splint for her leg, made a homemade stretcher and carried her to her husband who was waiting at the end of the trail. Good thing, too because Curry later revealed that her leg was broken and would take 10-12 weeks to heal!

The boys didn’t realize they had helped the famous journalist until later, showing that they were truly only looking to help someone in need. What a kind and helpful group of kids!
