People Are Buying Stamps To Save The US Postal Service

People are taking to social media to spread the word...to buy stamps.

Why stamps, you ask?

The United States Postal Service, a critical service to the country, is losing billions of dollars during the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the USPS wasn't in great financial shape to begin with, but with the decrease in paper marketing, the Postal Service is suffering and might not be a viable business by September.

The Postal Service is looking for a bailout from Congress, but at the moment is struggling to get the support it needs.

Here's where the social media comes in...people are spreading the word to buy a sheet of stamps. They cost around $11, and if every American bought one sheet from the USPS, that would be enough to help the government entity float.

Crazy times, right?
