The food scene in Philly is amazing and we have more proof of that. Zahav, which serves up Israeli cuisine, was named the best restaurant in America by the prestigious James Beard Awards. The chef behind Zahav, Michael Solomonov, won the best chef award two years ago.
The menu at Zahav changes frequently, but right now they're serving duck and foie gras kebab and concord grape sorbet with poached quince among many other cool options.
At current check, you might have to wait a while to actually eat there. It seems like they're booked on reservations for at least the next month or so.
So while you wait, you can eat at Michael's other Philly restaurants: The Rooster, Abe Fisher and Federal Donuts!
