#WomanCrushWednesday Saoirse Ronan

Our #womancrushwednesday for March 14th is perfectly suited for the Irish delight, Saoirse Ronan

Why we're crushing:

We've seen her grow up on the big screen. Her first major role was alongside Keira Knightley and James McAvoy at only 12-years-old in the film, Atonement (2007). Saoirse went on to star alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones in Death Defying Acts (2007), alongside Mark Wahlberg and Susan Sarandon in The Lovely Bones (2009), and alongside Colin Farrell in The Way Back (2010). Most recently, Saoirse stunned us all in Lady Bird (2017) and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her performance.

She's such a good sport! Anyone with an unusual name probably knows how annoying it can be to be asked about the spelling, pronunciation, or origin. But we love Saoirse's ability to roll with the punches and poke fun at herself over and over again. Even if we can't say her name correctly, we're still crushing on Saoirse!

Watch her pronounce her name below:

She's totally tight with Ed Sheeran and starred in his music video for "Galway Girl." We mean, how cute is this video?!
