Great White Shark Mary Lee Heading North Toward Jersey Shore!

The unofficial start of Summer is here, most people are headed to the shore, and now WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SHARKS!

Mary Lee, the 3,500-pound great white shark known to frequent the waters off the Jersey Shore, is visiting again!  OCEARCH, the nonprofit research organization that tagged Mary Lee in 2012, regulaly posts updates on her whereabouts. Here's the latest on her travels:  Mary Lee was spotted off the coast of Wildwood!  She was on the surface long enough to ping at 6:29 p.m. on Sunday. In the last 72 hours, the shark has traveled about 150 miles and was headed toward the shore.
